Return & Refunds Policy
Our policy lasts 14 days & is applicable to both domestic as well as International orders. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. There should be no signs of damage or wear & tear.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
* Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund claim.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 2 to 5 business days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet after our confirmation email, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and send your item to: 8023 Rue Alfred, Anjou, H1J1J3 QC, Canada. Note: 1-3% margin for inaccuracy or cosmetic imperfections may occur during shipping as these items are overweight and oversize often and a minor fall may cause minor imperfections in Dumbbells, Barbells, Plates, etc. In such case, no refund or compensation, or exchange would be offered as far as the imperfection is minor i.e. 1-3% of total surface area.
We do not charge a restocking fee on returns if the product is faulty due to Manufacturer’s fault. All Sales are final and 10% to be deducted upon cancellation of items purchased during sale as it limits other buyers purchasing the items due to limited quantities. For Open box returned items we deduct 25% under restocking fee.
Cancellation (Processing Fees)
Any processing fees paid or charged by the processing platform i.e. Credit/Debit are non refundable. Please note that we offer discount on other form of transactions and each payment method has its own perks. Choose wisely as some fees are non refundable by default from payment providers such as Stripe who does not refund fee if for any reason a transaction is cancelled.
Exceptions (Shipping Zones)
Sometimes we are unable to deliver to certain locations that fall outside the reach or are above the shipping fee we normally put in to deliver which is about 15-20% of order total. Example if an order was 500$ and comes with Free Shipping we would dedicate to pay upto 20% of the order amount to shipping charge however if the shipping charges are very high or beyond this percentage then we hold the right to either cancel the order (with full refund to you) or request you to pay for the shipping cost difference if you decide to keep the order with us. HAJEX holds the right to cancel any order we receive and none of the orders received online come with a warranty or guarantee of being shipped whatsoever unless we have offered you a written consent that we will be shipping to your particular address after having received your order and going through the shipping fee.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
HAJEX will happily honor any valid warranty claims, provided a claim is submitted within 30 days of receipt of items. We can provide you a prepaid return shipping label. Estimated delivery is given under each product however the only possible delay may arise due to events like accidents, port delays, shortage of trucks or strikes, etc. In either scenario the customer must wait until the situation is escalated.
Upon return receipt of items for a warranty claim, you can expect HAJEX to process your warranty claim within 7 days. All cash sales will be final and non refundable to discourage abuse of our returns policy.
Once the warranty claim is confirmed, you will receive the choice of:
(a) refund to your payment method
(b) a refund in-store credit
(c) a replacement item sent to you (if stock is available)
How to return? To return your product, you should mail your product to: 8023 rue Alfred, Montreal, H1J1J3, QC, Canada, Canada using the prepaid return shipping label provided by us via email. You can download and print it using any printer. Make sure the barcode is visible and the label is protected in plastic bag or sheet to protect from any water damage while in transit. Make sure the packaging is same size, weight balanced as delivered.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
